If CAP removed the Ranking System, over 3/4 of the senior members would quit. There are too many air force wanabees that like to hold a rank title to impress their friends and family of something they really are not. Holding rank in CAP (Childrens Air Patrol) is nothing. I agree with the last Emailer that structure rank in CAP should be like the Coast Guard Auxiliary. I'm sure the Air Force would like that. How cool is it to see a 70 year old guy with the Rank of 2nd/Lt? Wow, look at me, and don't forget to salute!
